De API dekking zegt iets over de mogelijkheden om verschillende koppelingen te bouwen. Echter, de mogelijkheden tot het maken van een specifieke koppeling zijn natuurlijk ook sterk afhankelijk van de wensen en eisen voor individuele use-cases.

Laatste ontwikkelingen bij de e-Boekhouden API

e-Boekhouden lanceerde oorspronkelijk een SOAP-webservice, die nog steeds beschikbaar is. De moderne REST API (v1) volgde later met JSON, token-authenticatie en een OpenAPI-specificatie. De API wordt periodiek uitgebreid met nieuwe endpoints en filteropties.

Laatste ontwikkelingen bij de Elastic Path API

Moltin startte in 2014 als headless commerce-API en werd in 2020 hernoemd naar Elastic Path Commerce Cloud. Sindsdien uitgebreid met Product Experience Manager, Composer, rule-based Promotions Builder, subscriptions en een modulaire OpenAPI-architectuur per domein.
